What is local heating system?

The local heating system consists of:

  1. Boiler (running on electricity, gas, oil, etc.)
  2. Heat transfer fluid (water, etc.)
  3. Pipes for circulation (launching and receiving)
  4. Radiators

How do we suggest you to achieve savings from 30% to 60% on heating bills?

You have to:

  1. Set the temperature of the water in the heating system according to the outdoor temperature. When the temperature outside is +5° you warm the water up to 50° and not 63° which is required when outside temperature is -10 °!
    This achieves maximum energy heating saving mode.
  2. Create individual schedules
  3. Change the temperature depending on events (presence, dates, etc.)

The combination of well known methods and the unlimited automation means that you receive in SPC will allow you to turn your heating system from an ordinary system into the most economical system (class A+).

1. Setting the dependence of the heating system temperature according to the outside temperature.

The leading manufacturers of heating systems (Viesman, Bulex, etc.) use a collection of preset curves of dependence between the two temperatures (e.g. the brown line in the picture). At the installation of the boiler they will choose the one that ‘appears’ to be closest to your building and it will be activated permanently. Anyone can easily imagine that is practically impossible for a limited number of curves to fit perfectly with the specifics of each house/building and much less with the individual perception of warmth of its inhabitants.  The only thing that you will certainly achieve with this method is both you will be very warm or very cold and you will have to repeatedly look for the services of the installation company in order to adjust your settings until you achieve satisfying results at certain outside temperature…or in the end you will just give up this ‘tiresome’ functionality.

 

The graphics commonly used in the industry are at your disposal.

You can ‘draw’ on them your individual temperature dependence in the heating system in relation to the outside temperature and you will not need the services of technicians from the installation company.

 

 

 

2. Work schedule of the heating system

In SPC you can easily determine the work of the heating system according to the different times of the day and the week.

For example, when you are at work during the day and nobody is home –SPC activates more economic curve of dependence (lower water temperature) so that the temperature in the rooms is around 18°.

And that way you save even more!

 

 

3. Change of the parameters according to presence (or unspecified event)

If there is a data from the motion detector ‘Detector Living’

and if it’s during the working days

and the time is between 9.00am and 18.00pm

Then

activate ‘Day mode’ of the heating system in a house ‘Sofia’.
